La South Soul Rhythm Section è una formazione di giovanissimi in cui figurano il prodigioso quindicenne bassisita Dywane Thomas Jr. (figlio d’arte) e il diciassettenne batterista Kennith “the Rock Star” Shepherd. Cresciuti alla Stax Music Academy e allenati da Tony Nichelson, vengono presentati dal Center For Southern Folklore di Memphis raccolgono veramente l’eredità dei leggendari muisicsti della Stax come Booker T. et The MGs e i Bar-Kays. Che si unisca a loro qualche celebre personaggio?
